Brian is a global senior healthcare executive with over 30 years across pharma and biotech, he has held C-suite roles (CEO, COO, CCO) and led organizations of more than 2,000 people. He built his career foundation at Schering-Plough and Merck before building and scaling early-stage companies including Exolvo Biosciences, ChromeX Therapeutics, CorriXR Therapeutics, and NAKI Therapeutics. He has launched more than 30 therapeutic products across oncology, immunology, cardiovascular, and CNS. Brian holds a BS from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Chief Financial Officer
Walter, a seasoned financial professional, is founder and managing director of WGA, an early-stage life science-focused investment bank. Since 2001, WGA has raised $360M for two dozen early-stage life science companies with returns over $640M from exits to date. A lifelong entrepreneur and experienced “hands-on” executive, Walter has held operating roles in many of those portfolio companies in their formative years. He received his BA from Yale, an MA from Oxford, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Stewart McCallum, MD, is a board-certified Surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. A former Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at Stanford University School of Medicine, he has built a career spanning academic surgery, global drug development, and pharmaceutical executive leadership. As former Chief Medical Officer at Baudax Bio and Clinical Director at GlaxoSmithKline, Dr. McCallum has guided complex programs from candidate selection through FDA approval, with expertise in regulatory strategy, medical affairs, and rare disease. He brings surgical discipline and clinical rigor to drug development and commercial strategy across international markets.

Debjani Kapila is the Senior Licensing Manager at Venture Partners at the University of Colorado Boulder. Earlier in her career at GE Global Research, Debjani played a key role in developing the intellectual property strategy for Illuminare-1. She was involved from early-stage research through the clinical trial phase and led the development of the IP portfolio spanning research, clinical validation, and the exploration of potential new applications.
